Verification

What the โœ” badge actually means.

Anyone can call themselves a trading mentor. The badge exists so you don't have to take that on faith โ€” here's exactly what we check before a mentor gets one, and just as importantly, what it doesn't promise.

โœ” Verified This badge is awarded by us, not claimed by the mentor.

What we check

๐Ÿชช

Identity

Government-issued ID, checked against the name on the listing. A mentor who won't show us who they are doesn't get listed โ€” that alone removes most of the anonymous accounts that make this industry feel like a minefield.

๐Ÿ“…

Experience

We ask for evidence supporting the years-trading figure on their profile โ€” account histories, prop-firm records, or employment history where relevant. If they can't support the number, the number doesn't go up.

๐Ÿ“ˆ

Performance evidence

Payouts and broker statements shown on a profile are reviewed by a human before the badge is granted. We're checking that the evidence is real and belongs to them โ€” not endorsing the results or predicting future performance.

๐Ÿ”—

Social accounts

We confirm the linked YouTube, X, or Instagram accounts genuinely belong to them โ€” so nobody can borrow someone else's audience as credibility.

๐Ÿšซ

No unrealistic claims

Every listing is scanned automatically and read manually for claims like "guaranteed profits", fixed win rates, or "turn $100 into $10,000". Listings making them are rejected โ€” verified or not.

What the badge does not mean

  • โœ• It is not a prediction that you will make money.
  • โœ• It is not an endorsement of their results, or a guarantee they'll repeat.
  • โœ• It is not financial advice, and Verity is not a licensed advisor.
  • โœ• It is not permanent โ€” we remove badges when standards slip.

Trading involves substantial risk of loss and is not suitable for every investor. Past performance does not guarantee future results. Verification tells you a mentor is who they say they are and that their evidence is real โ€” the decision, and the risk, is still yours.

Unverified mentors

A mentor without a badge isn't automatically untrustworthy โ€” they may be new, or still working through the checks. It simply means we haven't confirmed those things yet, so weigh their free clips and reviews more heavily. Verification status is always shown openly on every profile, including which specific checks are outstanding.

Found something wrong?

If a listing looks misleading โ€” verified or not โ€” tell us at akytrades@gmail.com. Reports are read by a human, and removing a bad listing matters more to us than keeping a paying one.
