Every listing shows its refund terms before you pay — that's a requirement for listing on Verity, not a courtesy. Most courses offer a money-back window of 7–14 days; community subscriptions can be cancelled any time and run to the end of the paid period. If a purchase isn't what was advertised, contact us and we'll step in.
Each Mentor sets their own refund window, shown on the listing. Within that window you can request a refund by emailing akytrades@gmail.com with your account email and what you bought.
Because course content can be downloaded or copied, Mentors may decline refunds where a substantial portion of the material has been consumed — but this must be stated on the listing, and it does not override your statutory rights.
Cancel at any time; access continues until the end of the period you've already paid for, and you won't be charged again. We don't generally pro-rate partial months unless the listing says otherwise or the community was misrepresented.
Free trials convert to paid at the end of the trial unless cancelled before it ends. The trial length and renewal date are shown on the listing.
We will intervene and refund you if:
This is the practical meaning of buying through Verity rather than direct: there is someone to escalate to. Where we refund in these circumstances, we may recover the amount from the Mentor.
Nothing here removes rights you have under consumer law. In the UK and EU you generally have a 14-day right to withdraw from a distance purchase — though for digital content delivered immediately, that right can be lost once delivery begins with your express consent and acknowledgement. Where those rules apply, they take precedence over a Mentor's stated policy. [Confirm the exact wording and consent flow with your lawyer.]
Email akytrades@gmail.com with your account email, what you purchased, the date, and the reason. We aim to respond within [X business days]. Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method, typically within [5–10] business days of approval.
Please contact us before raising a chargeback with your bank — it's almost always faster to resolve directly, and we'd rather fix the problem than fight it.
[TODO before launch: set your actual response and processing times, confirm the UK/EU digital-content withdrawal wording and add the required consent checkbox at checkout, and define in your Mentor agreement how refunded amounts are clawed back from payouts.]
